In this newly discovered audio (cleaned up as best as our sound engineers could), Blake Snyder breaks down Tootsie (screenplay by Larry Gelbart & Murray Schisgal), concentrating on the thesis world of Act One vs. the upside-down world of Act Two. Blake also shows the distinction between your “hook” or “poster” and a theme that makes your movie memorable. The Sydney Pollack-directed classic is a wonderful example of a well-structured film.
