Master Cat Jennifer Zhang, the writer and host of the Save the Cat! Cracking the Beat Sheet online course, has written and is producing and directing the feature film Trüebadour. 

Trüebadour chronicles the disturbing implosion of a tech start-up after an innovative AI “storytelling” device is introduced into the company.

The film stars Ryan Bergara (Ghost Files, The Good Half) in his first feature leading role and Kevin Kreider (Bling Empire; Hello, Love, Again), along with Gina Su, Matt Gottlieb, and Tom Herrick.

Executive Producer Jamie Lee Curtis says, “I have followed Jennifer’s promising career for several years and I’m excited to join this thrilling project.”

Other executive producers on Trüebadour include Benny Luo of NextShark Studios, Christopher Tremann of Tenax Media, Jaice DuMars of Score Reveal Productions, Debby Chang, Andrew Sakai, Linda Fang, Jon Lee Brody, Scott Fitzpatrick, Michael Leibowitz, Stuart Giles, and Jessica Sohl of JSJN Ventures.

Producers include Chris Bythewood, one of the judges of the Save the Cat! Screenplay Challenge.
