Tech support has already issued a patch, and it is into Apple, pending approval! Now, that’s what was really needed!!!!
I can’t believe how great the Cats are! Seriously, you all listened to what we asked for – and responded right away! I am running my fingers over to the App Store now! Thanks! You are all the best!
The export function does not work. When I activate the email function it does nothing after touching a contact.
To Philip and everyone else: We’re very sorry but we discovered a bug within a very short time after the update was launched. We immediately fixed the bug and sent Apple another update; unfortunately, it’s in their queue awaiting release. We expect it will appear soon, though we cannot predict when. We apologize for the problem and look forward to your enjoying the second update!
Funny. My name is also Philip, and I was also coming here to report that the email export does not work. Thanks for the update, I will patiently await…
Great app, I love Blake’s books, and love the app! I use it all the time!
I got the update, and it still doesn’t seem to work. What do I do?
just got the desktop and the iPhone version, and I would LOVE if you could not only import from the iPhone, but export from the desktop TO the iPhone. That would be the absolute bomb. Can you do that? Am I just missing it????
Apparently I am missing it, since reading and googling suggests that it can be done. But I can’t figure out how. Help. Please. Pity me….
Julie, Download the latest update from http://www.tmgca.com/savethecatupdate. On the Windows version you’ll find the Upload to iPhone menu under the File menu. On the Mac version, open the screenplay you want to upload then look under the Screenplay menu.
I got the iPod touch STC app.. So far, I can only find where I enter the details for a script (i.e. Title, Logline, and Page Count), and the scratch pad. How do I access The Board, and the other functions of this app? Please help. Thank you in advance. :-D
Please email Bob McFarlane at [email protected] for any questions about our software or app. He’ll help you out!
I am unable to use the Upload/Download feature in my Ipod software. Just says “Unavailable at this time”
Ben,
You’ll be hearing from Bob McFarlane shortly.
I have to tell you that your customer service is pretty lousy! Is there a reason you don’t have a phone number to call for help?
The main reason is we’re a small operation without a single full-time employee — yet we have a sterling record with Tech Support, successfully solving problems by email first and phone if necessary. Very, very sorry if that process doesn’t work for you. Please give it a chance by emailing Bob with your problem. If you are not satisfied, we will be happy to refund your purchase price.
Seems like an IOS ipad version of Save the Cat software that’s compatible with version 3.0 of the desktop software has been promised for a very long time with no comment I can find anywhere on whether we are 5 years away, 3 years away, a year away from it’s release? Any suggestions?
Sorry, everyone. We didn’t anticipate the complexity of the iPad platform design. We are, however, officially in beta testing, soooooo… 3 months away? Stay tuned. Thanks for your patience!
