Will Bashor's recent publication, Marie Antoinette’s Head: The Royal Hairdresser, the Queen, and the Revolution, which narrates the life of Léonard Autié, won the 2013 Adele Melon Prize for Distinguished Scholarship and was nominated for the American Library of Paris 2014 and Ohioana Library 2014 Book Awards.
