
John Yearley
John is a screenwriter, TV writer, and playwright. He teaches screenwriting at Drexel University in Philadelphia and TV Writing at the Barrow Group in NY. He worked as a script doctor for New Line Cinema, and has written for the shows Arthur and Treasure Trekkers. As a playwright he has won the Mickey Kaplan New American Play Prize for Ephemera, the John Gassner Award for Leap, and the Macy’s New Play Prize for Young Audiences for The Last Wish. John is member of the Dramatists Guild, Writers Guild, and twice a MacDowell Fellow.
